Computer got to the windows splash screen, and then the monitors went dark, but the computer was still active (hard disk light was on). I've pruned BIOS routines and startup items, which leaves the bit in the middle. BSOD Help and Support Computer boot hanging. Suggest you try this for yourselves as it worked for me. check over here
I have a fresh install of windows 7 on my SATA flash drive.The only thing really changed is the new ati 10.12 drivers and i changed the drive from IDE mode But this is something that you can definitely fix with a single registry tweak from Linux, right?
