Gautam I went into the BIOS and changed the First Boot priority to CD ROM but the screen says Booting from ATAPI CD ROM … and then the blue screen error(Unmountable If that still doesn't work then maybe time to ditch the laptop as motherboards are expensive. –Dean Perry Aug 21 '10 at 20:22 | show 1 more comment up vote 5 Any suggestions? I haven't encountered this problem before where I can't boot from CD. I can't get a windows cd from the store until wednesday or thursday and it's very important that I have my computer from Friday and Saturday.. I have learnt a big lesson and have backed up all files from the hard drive. Once the process is complete, EasyRE will report its findings. when it appears to be ready and start to install windows (and before to get in the blue screen with ENTER to install windows or press R to recovery) it pops weblink but i'm sure u must have done it anyway 🙂 Jim Worked like a charm!
