I have paid to work w/ Parallels. First reboot into OS X. And by using it I can have a better Windows experience with less memory footprint, less BSOD and so on.
You may want to try re-installing Windows 7 and NOT loading the boot camp drivers.
I also tried this before any updates are applied via Microsoft Updates / Windows Updates and I get the BSOD then also.
